and a special emotive 'Land of Hope & Glory' concert. This will be a rare and truly reminiscent tribute to the 1940's.

The Prime Minister, will be on the steps of the hotel to welcome guests and to make a rousing after dinner speech.
STARS OF THE SILVER SCREEN AT THE ‘EMPIRE PICTURE HOUSE’
To enable you to recapture the favourites of the big screen, a period theatre style cinema has been created in the hotel,
so just sit back, relax and watch some of the all time greats from the 1940’s big screen.
OUR GEORGE FORMBY ‘George Formby’ will be standing by the lamppost complete with ukulele to serenade and entertain you.
1940's Classic Dancing - For those with a panache for the dance floor you may want to indulge in the dance classes running throughout the day.
These will be hosted by our international dance coach.
You can take a beginners or a refresher course to learn the basics to improve your steps and routines.
In the evenings you can take your partners and dance the night away. Admission is strictly controlled and will be by ticket only.
